Santa Monica on the 3rd

Yesterday was EXHAUSTING.  After spending almost the entire morning and afternoon in the gym, Monica, Sandi and I headed to the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica.  It was pretty overrun by tourists and made for a very crowded atmosphere.  We walked around, checked out stores and of course, had some Pink Berry (oh Pink Berry, how I’ve missed you so much).

There were a lot of street performers out taking advantage of the large crowds.  Here’s a bunch of hip-hoppers that had managed to draw a sizable audience.

We shopped around at our usual hot spots — MNG by Mango, Armani Exchange, Express, etc.  Then we had a yummy Italian dinner at this place called Travastere on the Promenade.  It’s a little pricey but I highly recommend it to everyone looking for some yummy food.

We woke up early to get back into the gym before Sandi had to fly back to the bay area — I made sure that Marmie got to eat some good breakfast while helping her mommy to wake up.

Now, Monica and I are just waiting around for Isidro to come back — we’re gonna meet up with Russell and CT for dinner at Century City — we’ll be eating at Rock Sugar, which is a restaurant that I’ve eaten at once but Isidro has never tried.  I can’t wait, should be a lot of fun!

Of course, because we’re waiting around, we’ve spent a lot of time playing with Marmie, which doesn’t sit too well with her because she’s missed her afternoon nap.  She’s none too happy about that.
